Sealed “best and final” offers are invited for 16.28 acres, or thereabouts, of good quality land which is well fenced and has a natural water supply.

The land is let subject to a Countryside Stewardship Scheme (see below/agent for more details).

The land is to be let from 1st November 2025 to 31st October 2026 on a grazing licence basis for sheep and cattle grazing and mowing.

Countryside Stewardship Agreement Conditions

Field No. 9050 – (GS5) Low Input Grassland.

Keep a monthly record of stock numbers grazing and make this record available on request.

Field Nos. 8419 & 7931 (BE3) Do not supplementary feed within 2m of the centre of the hedge.

Do not remove standing deadwood or tree limbs.

All Fields - Co-operate with the landlord where practicable and reasonable to do so,

in order for the landlord to deliver the Management Options of the CSA.

Additional Information

There is a small building within parcel no. 8836, part of which is available for the tenant to use.

Payment for the land is to be made in one instalment at the commencement of the let. The grazier cannot claim the Basic Payment Scheme on the land.

Note that the owners reserve the right not to accept the highest or indeed any offer made.
